Government Overview – The Borough of Bradley Beach, since July 1, 1992, has operated under the Mayor – Council form of government pursuant to the Faulkner Act, Chapter 69A of Title 40 of the of the New Jersey Statutes. The Mayor is the Chief Executive Officer of the Borough and is elected for a four year term. The Borough Council is the legislative body. There are four members elected at large for concurrent three year terms. Bradley Beach is within the New Jersey’s 30th legislative district.

American Disabilities Act Committee  
Arts At The Beach, the Bradley Beach Arts Council Julia Sandra Rand, Chair
Board of Recreation Committee-Monthly meetings are held at the Recreation Center, 39 Rear Main Street on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7pm  
Community Dispute Resolution Committee Beverly Rassas and Harold Rassas
Environmental Commission-Monthly meetings are held at the Carmen A. Biase Center, 719 Main Street on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7pm. There maybe exceptions.  
Fletcher Lake Commission Chairman Charles A. Quixley-Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Meeting Room 701 Main Street at 7pm
Library Board of Trustees Chair Vickie Johnson-Monthly meetings are held at the Public Library, 511 Fourth Avenue on the 4th Monday at 5:15pm. No meetings July and August.
Local Citizens Participation Group  
Planning Board Chairman William Psiuk-Monthly meetings are held usually on the 4th Thursday of each month 6:30pm at the Meeting Room, 701 Main Street.
Shade Tree Commission Chair Carl Schopfer-Monthly Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month 7pm at the Carmen A. Biase Center, 719 Main Street

Borough Council Meetings


Council Meetings

All meetings will be held in the Borough Hall Meeting Room, 701 Main Street, Bradley Beach. The Meetings start at 6:30 pm
Please check our calendar on the Home Page.
Agenda Items must be submitted to the Borough Clerk, 701 Main Street, New Jersey 07720 at least 96 hours (four business days) prior to the meeting date.
The Second and Fourth Tuesday of each month with exceptions:
February 27th. and only one meeting December 17th.

A Meetings has been scheduled for the following date:
January 1, 2014 at 12 Noon.

Workshop Meetings have been scheduled for Feb 19th, May 21st and August 20th starting at 6:30PM

Municipal Court

Effective Tuesday, January 22, 2013 Bradley Beach Municipal Court is now located at the Neptune City Municipal Complex, 106 West Sylvania Avenue, Neptune City, NJ 07754. Phone 732 775-1690. If you have any questions concerning 2013 Court Schedule please call.

The Bradley Beach Municipal Court has jurisdiction over disorderly person offenses, local ordinances and all motor vehicle offenses that occur within the boundaries of the Borough of Bradley Beach. The Municipal Court System is governed by court rules established by the State of New Jersey.

VIOLATIONS BUREAU WILL:
Accept payment for outstanding fines
Accept bail for outstanding warrants
Accept complaints (Private Citizens wishing to file criminal or motor vehicle charges
against another individual may do so through the Court Administrator’s Office.)

You may mail payments to the Bradley Beach Municipal Court, 106 West Sylvania Avenue, Neptune City, NJ 07754. Check or money orders should be made payable to the Bradley Beach Municipal Court (list the ticket/summons number on your check or money order).

If you wish to pay a ticket on-line you may do so by going to www.njmcdirect.com.
When paying on-line you will need to have the ticket and plate number available.
