INVITATION TO BID/GENERAL INSTRUCTION
NOTICE TO BIDDERS is hereby given that a public auction will be held as set forth herein.
OWNER:      BOROUGH OF BRADLEY BEACH
TITLE:         LEASE OF THE MUNICIPAL MINIATURE GOLF COURSE LOCATED AT THE BOROUGH’S OCEANFRONT BETWEEN MC CABE AND OCEAN PARK AVENUES.
LOCATION: On the oceanfront, on the easterly side of Ocean Avenue, adjacent to the Boardwalk within the fenced perimeter generally situated between McCabe Avenue and Ocean Park Avenue.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL of the Borough of Bradley Beach will receive bids at the Borough Hall Meeting Room, 701 Main Street, Bradley Beach, New Jersey, on Tuesday, May 8, at 6:30 p.m. for the lease of the above location to be used for a miniature concession.  Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:12-14 and such other applicable statute, bids shall be received through open competitive auction bidding.
The Lease Agreement and associated documents, if any, can be obtained from the Borough Clerk.  All Bidders should inspect these documents and the location prior to bidding.  Access to the golf course may be arranged through the Office of the Borough Administrator.  All Bidders must submit prior to the public auction, a deposit in the amount of $500.00 by bank or certified check.  The deposit shall be a credit towards the lease price in favor of the successful bidder and returned to any non-successful bidders within thirty (30) days of the Bid award.  The minimum bid shall be Forty Five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00).  The successful bidder must enter into the lease with the Borough within (5) five business days of the Bid award and pay the balance of the first years rent at that time.  The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids where the highest bid is not accepted and to waive any minor non-material defects.  Bidders shall fully execute and/or provide, as the case may be, a Certificate of Ownership, Business Registration Certificate, Non-collusion Affidavit and Equal Employment Opportunity Affidavit prior to bidding.  All documents can be obtained and reviewed at the office of the Municipal Clerk 701 Main Street, Bradley Beach, New Jersey, between the hours of 9:00 am and 4 pm.  For Business Registration, bidders must contact the State of New Jersey.
The lease shall be for a period commencing May 15, 2012 and terminates September 30, 2012.  The successful bidder will be required to comply with all statutes, ordinances, regulations or other law concerning same.

TITLE:         LEASE OF SPACE FOR THE OPERATION OF A SURF CAMP ON THE                           OCEANFRONT AND BEACH
LOCATION: On the oceanfront at and about the Lake Terrace Beach for the operation of a surf camp.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL of the Borough of Bradley Beach will receive bids at the Borough Hall Meeting Room, 701 Main Street, Bradley Beach, New Jersey, on Tuesday, May 8, at 6:30 p.m. for the lease of the property at the oceanfront and beach at and about the Lake Terrace Beach to be used for the operation of a Surf Camp. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:12-14 and such other applicable statute, bids shall be received through open competitive auction bidding.
The Lease Agreement and associated documents, if any, can be obtained from the Borough Clerk.  All Bidders should inspect these documents and the location prior to bidding.  Said lease includes a provision that the successful bidder will provide 25 free classes to be used by the Borough at its discretion. Access to the location may be arranged through the Office of the Borough Administrator.  All Bidders must submit prior to the public auction, a deposit in the amount of $500.00 by bank or certified check.  The deposit shall be a credit towards the lease price in favor of the successful bidder and returned to any non-successful bidders within thirty (30) days of the Bid award.  The minimum bid shall be Five Hundred Twenty Five Dollars ($525.00).  The successful bidder must enter into the lease with the Borough within (5) five business days of the Bid award and pay the balance of the first years rent at that time.  The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids where the highest bid is not accepted and to waive any minor non-material defects.  Bidders shall fully execute and/or provide, as the case may be, a Certificate of Ownership, Business Registration Certificate, Equipment Certification, Non-collusion Affidavit and Equal Employment Opportunity Affidavit prior to bidding.  All documents can be obtained and reviewed at the office of the Municipal Clerk 701 Main Street, Bradley Beach, New Jersey, between the hours of 9:00 am and 4 pm.  For Business Registration, bidders must contact the State of New Jersey.
